Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark Crowned Miss Universe 2024, Marking the First Win for a Danish Contestant
contestant Victoria Kjær Theilvig became the first-ever Danish winner of Miss Universe as she took home the title at the 73rd version of the competition.
The beauty pageant, held in Mexico City, featured over 120 additional contestants, as Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina finished as first runner-up, followed by Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand and Ileana Marquez Pedroza of Venezuela, per the Associated Press and CNN.
Theilvig, 21, accepted her tiara from Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.
