President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Modi, who arrived in Abuja on Saturday evening, was welcomed at the forecourt of the Villa at around 10:20 a.m. on Sunday. Following a ceremonial reception, Tinubu escorted the Indian leader into his office for a closed-door meeting.

During their meeting, the two leaders were expected to discuss and sign several bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening ties between Nigeria and India.

“Thank you Nigeria for a productive visit, which will add strength and vigour to India-Nigeria friendship.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, marking the first visit by an Indian prime minister to the country in 17 years. His arrival was met with a ceremonial welcome and enthusiastic support from the Indian diaspora.
