contestant Victoria Kj\u00e6r Theilvig became the first-ever Danish winner of Miss Universe as she took home the title at the 73rd version of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beauty pageant, held in Mexico City, featured over 120 additional contestants, as Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina<\/a> finished as first runner-up, followed by Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand and Ileana Marquez Pedroza of Venezuela, per the Associated Press and CNN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theilvig, 21, accepted her tiara from Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.<\/p>\n\n\n
